pursuitAI is a software service designed to help users organize job-search information, analyze job fit, monitor job-search signals, and generate job-search materials and suggestions. pursuitAI is not a recruiting agency, employer, law firm, or guaranteed placement service.

Eligibility and Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
• You must use the service in compliance with applicable law.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to pursuitAI, including resume files, profile details, imported job materials, notes, and connected Gmail information. You grant pursuitAI a limited license to host, store, process, reproduce, and analyze that content solely to operate and improve the service for you.

You represent that you have the rights needed to provide the content you upload or connect, and that your use of the service will not violate the rights of any third party.

AI Outputs

pursuitAI may use AI providers, including Google through Gemini, to generate or analyze service outputs. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. You are responsible for reviewing any generated content before relying on it for applications, communications, or decisions.

Acceptable Use

• Do not use the service to violate law, infringe rights, or interfere with others' use of the service.
• Do not attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or bypass access controls for the service.
• Do not upload malicious code, harmful content, or data you are not authorized to use.
• Do not use pursuitAI to mass-spam, auto-apply unlawfully, or impersonate another person.

Third-Party Services

The service may depend on third-party providers and integrations, such as Google, Gmail, hosting, file storage, authentication, and AI vendors. Their systems and terms may affect your use of pursuitAI, and we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

Intellectual Property

pursuitAI and its software, visual design, branding, and site content are owned by pursuitAI or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly allowed by these Terms, you may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service, or if we need to do so for legal or operational reasons. You may stop using the service at any time.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent superseded by applicable federal law.
